electric mirrors and memory seat not working

hi peeps,my memory seats and mirrors aint working,the seats work manually if i put the ignition on but the mirrors dont do anything.i took apart the electric door panel cluster and cleaned all the elements inside but still no luck.im sure these two problems are related.the seat used to work without any ignition i could just press 1 or 2 and the seats and mirrors would go to their memorised position.ive checked all of the fuses and none have gone,also in the haynes manual there dont seem to be a fuse location for electric mirrors!. is there something i could check that could be the problem.thanks steve.

hi all,
just bought my coupe yesterday
seems good except I have the exact same problem as the guy who started this thread: no mirrors and no seat memory
...the mirrors do fold and the seat can adjust manually, though

all my fuses check out ok
I'm prolly gonna take off the door card tomorrow and have a peek about, but would appreciate some guidance

Might be best to get a code read done. There are a couple of coupe members not far from you might be worth asking their assistance.

I'm not sure if the seat ecu will raise faults

Seeing as you just got the car, what about checking the basics - look under the driver's seat and check the ecu is actually there (maybe the previous owner has fitted the seats without it) and the wiring's not been hacked about.

....and fixed!
....sadly I'm not sure why

pushed the connectors on the ecu, took relevant fuses out and reinserted them again
switched ignition on and RObert is most definitely a family member

lets hope all my coupe jobs are as easy!
