speedmeter problem

hi im from greece and i have a serious probllem with the speedmeter,this forum is my last chance to find my problem because noone techinician in my country can,
i have a peugeot 406 2000 8v turbo 1997 model everything is ok except the speedo,
the problem is that sometimes works with to expect it and other times dead,
i have change the sensor in the gearbox i have tested some others speedo nothing always the same,
the only thing i havent change is the unit 1929sj,
please if anyones help me.

Hi Allexander, welcome

1929sj was the problem on mine, the dealers swapped it for one off the shelf and the speedometer stopped playing about.
