wiper relay

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

It's not :( In the D8 it's a unit under the steering wheel, whereas in the D9s it's integrated into the BSI iirc.

Ok cheers bud.I took mine out and popped off the case to see if there were any obvious dry joints on the terminals ,but can't really see anything.should it be quite obvious if there is one, or should I just run the soldering iron over the terminals just in case.

When you say you popped the case off, do you mean the bsi case to look for the wiper relay and if so is it easy to do?

It's a D8:

Dry joints aren't always easy to spot, even using an eye glass. It might be worth running the soldering iron over it.
