Random connector in engine bay?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Random connector in engine bay?

Post by Fuzzdog »

Morning, Peugeot people!

During my many rummages under the bonnet, I found this lonely little black connector tucked away near the battery - Any idea what it should plug into, if anything? Can't find any corresponding place for it to go, so I'm assuming it's there for some optional extra which I don't have. It doesn't reach very far, so anything would have to be close by.

We get this every so often. It's pretty much as you say, for some non fitted extra, or it's a universal loom that covers different models. On your continued rummages, you'll probably find some more.
