Diagnostics Socket

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Diagnostics Socket

Post by tiggercl »

Hello,

Can anyone advise 'exactly' where the diagnostics socket is on a 2000 model 4006 V6 sedan?

Previous posts have mentioned that the socket is located under the steering wheel panel (on the right).

If this is the case, then left or right of the fuses?

Cheers

It's behind a blank switch panel above the fuse box. On some cars, there's an ESP switch on the left, then a blanking plate on the right. (Sorry, I'm assuming your asking about a D9)
