key remote battery low?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Did you use a budget price battery made by wing wong ?
if so replace with something decent. varta etc

other then that your fob might be faulty ive seen a few fobs drain battery's.

Mine did that 2 or 3 years back, just the once, no other signs, it's not done it again and It's still on the same battery that it came with when I got a new remote from Pug in 2007 (yeah, I know better now doughnigh  )

Have had my 406 for 3 years and both remotes work brill, have not changed either battery. On the same subject how does holding you key next head double the range? :cheesy: :cheesy:
