Drivers Window Wont Go Up

I have had a problem with the switch as long as I have had the car. Like most people it seems.
All the other swicthes work fine.So is it possible to get another switch from the breakers and fit it in the drivers door hole .
I am checking if the other swicthes will fit in the hole.I have also seen people mention that can you get the switches reconditioned .
Any recomendations.
Eventually got the window up after 20 mins button pressing Not the best game to play in the rain. phew.

I had this issue with mine originally. If I was going to a drive-thru I had to start pushing the switch to make the window go down when I was about a mile away......

Try a known working switch first, they are fairly common on eBay and local scrappies...
