I apologise for another 407 question, but I need some help from pp2000 owners.
I had a broken tyre pressure sensor and want to disable the monitors altogether and remove the "not being monitored" message...I went into the BSI to disable the TPM ECU and thought I'd done it, but I still get the message...is there something I missed/didn't do properly?
Thanks guys.

Thanks, trem

Re: Tyre pressure monitors.
option 1
Just disabled tpm's on a 407 today...
Before a Global test i selected.....
1)Accessories
2)Tyre Pressure Monitor.
3)and select Steel wheels instead of alloys.
Checked the config in the bsi and instrument panel and both had tpms absent.
option 2
there are a couple of jobs to be done to deactivate.....
go in to accesories in plannet and turn off the function...
go in to bsi and deconfigure the system so it doesn't comunicate and lift up the rear parcel shelf and disconnect the tyre monitor ecu....sounds alot but not difficult.
option 3
Tpm ecu , disable tpm
Radio, disable tpm
BSI , disable tpm ecu
does that give you some ideas Jasper ??

Re: Tyre pressure monitors.
I did this on a 308 CC last year for a friend and it was really weird as if you disable the options in the ECU's in the wrong order it would keep popping back up!
From memory the messages when you disable certain one do help to give a slight hint but the info about is great
