And another small problem.....
Since I've had my 406 estate every so often it flashed up low brake fluid level, I've changed the front pads as they were worn down, brake fluid went back up as the pistons were pushed back on calipers and is on the max marker, It's still flashing low fluid, dodgy sensor?? And is it easy replaced?
Re: And another small problem.....
Balls, this needs to be moved to the brakes section I think
Re: And another small problem.....
Oh and only does it when handbrake is applied or on
Re: And another small problem.....
This is a common fault on Coupes and is normally rectified with a new switch under the handbrake. The fact you say it only does it when handbrake is applied sort of confirms it's the switch.

Known 'feature' with the handbrake switch. Try working the handbrake frantically. Yes, really.
There are posts about it on here, but it's not practical for me to find them as I'm on my phone.

Nice 1, I'll give it a go, are they hard to replace the switch?

Working the handbrake lever like an idiot for 20 seconds will see this fault vanish for months on end, the switch just gets dusty/fluffy/lazy it is a bit of a faff replacing it so if you can't be arsed just give the lever a workout (make sure no-one's watching you
).

For Peugeot, I thought that £4.49 was pretty reasonable Stevesteve_earwig wrote:even if they're made out of goldmarkw wrote:£4.49
