Maplins do a product similar to Servisol, that we radio hams use.

Not a good idea to use a non-conductive cleaner as it will coat the contacts and add to the problem. WD40 is based on fish oil, and leaves a very fine residue behind when the solvents etc have evaporated. I would use brake or carb cleaner spray to clean off the non-conductive though.
