Fan relay location?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Fan relay location?

Post by gumby6371 »

Can any of you kind people point me towards the fan relays on a fully mux 2.2 HDI?

PP gives the 'FRIC' fault and fails to operate high or low speed fans with an actuator test.

not sure if they are in the same place as the 2.1 but if so, remove the grill and there's a triangular plastic cover which unscrews; they are under there.

Both Kelv and I have tried to operate ours via PP2k, both our cars only work on fast.

I half remember hearing they only have one relay, the rest is electronic. Can anyone confirm or deny?
