unknown pp2000 engine ecu warning

hi friends

just got my new pp2000 up and running which i love!

on global check, i get a warning that the engine ecu is nouvelle 406 bosch mp 5.2
but no fault codes

is this the engine ecu it should have or has it been replace with different?

i have a year 2000 406 2.0 litre petrol RFV
build code 83838

Hmm, Service Box isn't telling me which Bosch ecu yours is meant to have, all I get is the part number with no way of cross-referencing it. No RFV in the D9 Haynes? Strange. D8 says Bosch MP5.1.1 or MP5.2

Just a thought, are you selecting 406 Neuvelle when you're going into PP?

Your RPO/build code is 8383, I can't remember if you need to put the final 89 in there, that's the factory code anyway.

But why is it saying warning on the main screen but then when you enter the ecu there is no faults and no other screen that you see this warning again

Maybe it's saying "watch out - it's an MP5.2 not a 5.1.1."

Need your help friends

Had a better chance to look at pp2000 today.

As my car is an RFV motor is this the correct ecu?
Becuase there is a RFV bosch 5.2 and a R6E bosch 5.2 option on pp2000

This could be why the warning

Let me know what can be done!
i think this could be why my fuel economy is bad and can smell raw fuel

Has the ecu been unlocked. Apparently they can be unlocked so they don't need any code, or unlocked so that you enter your own code. I have been told that this 'could' put up an error. Maybe a past owner did this?

that could be the case but i dont know.
searching the internet it seems that the ecu is correct as there was 2 options of ecu, but im not certain.
im only alarmed because its giving me a warning
