The blower control module can certainly fail in this manner. Have a search for "6441L2"

Quick check, with engine running and blower set to full speed, reach behind the passenger side carpet under the glovebox and look for some thick wires going into a green connector. Not easy to see as its tucked away a bit. Give these wires/connectors a wiggle and see if the fan comes to life.

If so then an eBay search for the above :arrowu: will get you a replacement for around £25, its held in by a 6mm bolt.

If no joy then there is a possibility you have a fault with the ignition barrel, which is less common but not unheard of.

Or it could be the motor very easy to remove & test, under left hand side can be easier to remove glove box just 2 white plastic pins.

Usually poor or loose connections but have a play with the blower first.
I have a working D8 complete blower if you're near TF3 but won't fit a D9. Post your model in your SIG as it helps for future advice.
5 minute job to remove a blower motor on these so don't worry about it being a big job.

No. You can just replace the switch block on the back of it so you retain the use of your original keys.
