drivers window has poltergeist

Hi peeps me again my drivers window is on the fritz goes down ok but instantly comes back.up then have to wait a while.before it will work again but continuously closes itself sometimes it goes.couple of inches at first but few seconds later up it goes. Hey Ho least the car is safe but being a smoker and burning myself trying to flick my ash out of a closed window isn't funny

HI I had similar problems with mine to such an extent the buttons took on a mind of their own, sometimes pressed the down button the window would go up, pressed up the window goes down. if it's the bsi you could try a reset by lowering the window then raising the window keeping the button pressed for a few seconds until you hear a click in the door, its hard to hear so turn your radio off. If it's damp related sorry your on your own, it's a nightmare to trace.
