it also takes into account driving hours and the type of driving done, also, peugeot were very sneaky, although the the servicing schedule is 2 years or 12,000 miles, they did recommend an oil change and levels check style service every year and would make the light come on after a year regardless of mileage, its just another one of there ways of making money

It don't tell you that in the book I bet they 'had' loads of customers with that one.
the reason they didnt put it in the book was to catch customers out who didnt realise what the schedule was or if they had done the mileage etc..
just another way to grab your money
did you know out of all the work you can undertake on a car, servicing returns the most proft

That's because they can charge for stuff they don't do and they can do a really 'quick' oil change where they don't bother to drain it all out properly, which takes time.
Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work

That's why I've done most of it myself
Oil changes are impractical for me and seem next to impossible with the turbo oil filter, but National Tyres will do it nice and cheaply, and I had to get a frog specialist to do my rear brakes because my back was shot and the bolts required an impact wrench to shift, but other than that and the usual tyre replacements I've done it all myself so far, bar the fuel filter (I *WILL* get the bottle up to do that one day!) and the cambelt
Can anybody tell me how to reset the service indicator? I have a 406 2.2 HDi GTX and according to the manual I press button one whilst turning the ignition on; this would be a simple procedure if I had a button 1! My multifunction display is operated by a remote control and has no buttons associates with it. Help would be appreciated as I don't want the damn car to nag me for no reason as well!
