The previous owner changed the battery and told me the remote locking hasn't worked since.
I checked the remote battery which is fine at 3.2volts.
I have just done the procedure.......window open, battery disconnected for 5 mins, sidelights on etc etc.
I started the car and whilst the engine was running I was leaning in through the window and holding the large button on the fob for 20 secs.
The remote still don't work..............what can I do now?
Car is a 53plate 110bhp diesel 'S' estate

Re: Resynching my key
It probably needs PP2000 to get the BSI to 're-learn' the key(s)
You need the 4-digit PIN code from the card supplied with the car and someone with Planet
(Adding your location might get you an offer of help from someone nearby).

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
