Com 2000?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Com 2000?

Post by stevewalsh »

Hi all you fonts of knowledge

I know this is not Peugeot related but

The wife has a Citroen C4 2005 1.6HDI and there is a problem with the headlight / wiper unit behind the steering wheel, I have removed it and it looks very much like a COM2000 unit.
I can buy a new unit and fit it, but do I need Lexia/PP2000 to program it or are they a plug and play unit.
It probably came out of the same factory as a Peugeot.

Thanks

Steve

It's plug and play, but be careful matching a replacement as there are dozens of subtly different ones.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Thanks very much, There is a French website with them on, (valeo units with detailed photo's and part numbers) I am just setting off to work for a week and will remove the old one and compare it when I get home next weekend.
