Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

FWIW I looked too, without success.
I'm thinking if it does have a safety relay, it's likely built into the ABS unit, the engine fusebox or the BSI

I'd say ignore it until it manifests itself in a more apparent manner but, you know, brakes

Does it clear?

Yes... Solved.. It was a fuse in fuse box that works with abs.. So i changed the fused and the fault disappeared..

Thanks

Bizarre!

PSA: Permanent fault; Safety relay.

English: ABS has no supply voltage.

There is a fuse under the fuse box that cut.. So i replaced it and it worked.. Hahaha.. I think is for the abs block because there are wires connected to it

Well done for solving it. 8)
Misleading messages are all too common, I had one where I lost the lift pump supply on a Xsara HDi 90, the fault message was an egr solenoid fault.
In reality the ecu was missing 1 out of 3 +12V supplies.
