window reset

had the battery off tonight to sort me air bag light and when i reconnected the window auto close setting didnt work at first did i read somewhere about them needing to reset themselves?

To reinitialise the safety auto-reverse function following disconnection of the battery , lower the window and then raise it by pressing the switch until it is completly closed ( the window will rise in stages of 2 inches ) . normal operation will then resume.

taken from my 406 handbook , hope it helps cos it worked for me
