When the engine revs on my HDI 90 fall below 2000 rpm I get "Battery charge fault" on the display.
Is this a common fault on these querky french cars?
I think it may be a voltage regulator on the alternator, does this theory hold water?
If it is does that mean a new alternator, or can a new voltage regulator be bought seperately?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
DW

get your multimeter and measure the voltage across the battery with engine running, you should have arround 13.5 to 14volts if not replace the altenator
