I have a 90bhp hdi estate, what bits and pieces can i nick from the scrap yard to add onto mine?

How easy is it to add cruise control

I looked into adding cruise control myself, there are alot of parts you need, it will then need to go to Peugeot to be setup to recognise the crusie control system before it will work. I decided it wasn't really worth the hassle and expense.

on the rover 2.0d the cruise control retrofit was quite easy as long as you could find the cruise loom fitted... all the switches on the pedals were already there. The coding by the dealer wasnt in fact required for 80% functioning of the system.. it just kinda worked and a lot just leave it at that, after buying the ECU and operating switches decondhand.
Is the HDi drive by wire? If so , must be similarities... in which case if you have a high spec diesel, chances are the cruise loom might be there?
