Grrr Bloody Haynes Manual! Wiper Relay Help?

Post by Tiny Tim »

I've had a search on here but cant find a definitive answer...

Where exactly is the Wiper Relay? Haynes says its blue and located on the passenger inside?! I cant see any Relays there.

My wipers work on constant but not intermitant or Fast wipe... I've tried listening out for a clicking relay when they're on but to no avail.

Can anyone tell me where to find it?

I pulled out , in turn, every relay in the fuse box beneath steering wheel and then fthe use box next to battery under the bonnet. Never found the relay that operated the wipers!
Gave up looking. My fault is intermitttent and at present, touch wood, has gone away.

If anyone finds the mystery relay- let me know (out of interest).

Still no further... its one of the two smaller black relays behind the yellow ones (not the teeny tiny black relays) as i pulled them out whilst 'wipe' was ging and the stopped.

I then replaced them with brand new relays and even tried a new switch - NOTHING!! GRRRRR Still dont have intermittant or fast wipe.
