lo precious when switching on wipers they fuse unless i switches them on before turning ignition on must be faulty first position nasty hobbitsis seriously does any know if i can buy a replacement wiper stalk or do i have to buy the whole column ie radio indicators etc. secondly anyone have any idea how much they is likely to be. ta everso

On most d9s the unit is a com2000, includes the wiper and indicator stalk and the radio and cruise controls mount onto it. You need to get the steering wheel off to change it. I was recently quoted £145 + Vat by the main stealer

If you do get a new one can I have your old one so that I can perform some investigative surgery and maybe transplant the springy bit that appears to be broken in mine.....


PS you may be lucky and have the non com2000 stalks like puggy, but I doubt it

the changeover point is late 2001 so you maybe lucky, mine is non-comms
