Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

EODB - perhaps
this may help.
In the "Electricity" section I have:
"Special lighting - Without particular light"
All the lights seem to be there, so makes me wonder which particular light I am without
Remember - it only takes a few inches of water to drown a 406 don't make the same mistake I made! The V6 Exec is no more.

If memory serves, the 'particular' light is the map-reading light

That would be the cluster of lights around the sunroof controls - got those.
So there must be some other particular light I am missing

Maybe it's the optional light on the sun visor?

Very strange. I can't think of anywhere else you'd want a light!

I dunno what the problem is, my car's got three of them, as well as an ashtray full warning light and the advance mosquito warning system

Just reading the listing.
Interior equipment -> Misc. int. lamps ... MAP READING LAMP
Interior equipment -> Courtesy mirror ... DRIVER'S + PASENGER'S CONCEALABLE WITH LIGHT
The odd one is this:
Interior equipment -> Handbrake warning lamp ... WITHOUT PARKING BREAK INDICATOR.
Odd because I have the red light on the dash and the warning on the MFD if I "forget" to disengage the brake.

The main one and the one that can be aimed left/right?
Other lights I can think of:
eye-level brakelight
glovebox light
alarm light
rear overhead light (do you get those on saloons?)
boot light
door card lights
ashtray light
