Height Adjustable Headlamp problem

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Height Adjustable Headlamp problem

Post by Maranman »

 Like a complete twat! I accidentaly disconected the adjusting motor unit from the rear of the headlamp unit instead of the cover for the sidelight which has blown.

I do have a Haynes but can't find it
Its been "tidied" away due to Christmas grrr

If I had had it then I would have checked the bulb changing procedure before fiddling - of course  Don't we all.....

ANYWAY, now thats off my chest, the problem is that the headlamp is pointing at the tarmac about 6 feet off the bonnet which ain't good in these foggy conditions.

When I realised what I had done, I thought that I would just poke it back and hey presto but NO! don't be silly it has to be MUCH more Puggy complicated :(

In the absence of Mr Haynes, can anybody give me a clue what to do.

Merry Christmas

Response given in your other thread.

Good luck :cheesy:
Remember - it only takes a few inches of water to drown a 406 don't make the same mistake I made! The V6 Exec is no more.
