Do D8 wiper stalks with a trip computer button at the end have any extra markings (text/symbols) on them?
Early non-multiplexed D9 stalks are the same part aren't they?

Ah ok they're different then. The button at the end of D8 indicator stalks is the horn... Anyone know if the D8 wiper stalk has the arrows in the same spot? I'm trying to find one on ebay...puggy wrote:you mean like this mj ??

Re: Wiper stalk
I just picked one up from ebay for a fiver (no postage because it was local and I picked it up
). It was off an estate though, so it has the rear wiper control too (WHYWHYWHY couldn't I find one of these when I had an estate?). Here's the funny thing. You turn the rear wiper on and obviously nothing happens. But turn it to the rear washer position, and the front washer fires without moving the wipers.
I wonder if there's any situation this could be handy?
EDIT: AHA! YES! Washer jet aiming!

Yep, I noticed this too. Like you said, aim one of the jets off to the side of the car to squirt people!mjb wrote:But turn it to the rear washer position, and the front washer fires without moving the wipers
