sat nav remote.

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

sat nav remote.

Post by biglamb »

Hello peeps,
right, here is one of many of my pug 406 questions. See other posts for my other questions. I have now gone and got myself a 2001 406 hdi (110 of coarse) estate Executive. and on the whole im liking it. But i have a burning question about the sat nav and the display screen. I have no buttons to set the clock. All ihave is a small infa red reciever about the size of a 5p. So as i have no remote and no hand book. how do i set the time and date.!!!!!!???? that battery has been off at some point and the time and date are flashing at me (lucky me some would say). I dont mind buying a remote, if that what it takes, but i have removed my satndard sat nav and sold it, ( long story). So im i buying the remote just to set the clock? or does it do other mystical things too. Apart from the sat nav of coarse. Or can i just set the clock manualy and forget the remote. Please help me i feel so lost with out a clock!!!

thanks guys.

How much you planning to flog 'em on ebay for? ;)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
