Re: 12v feed in boot?
hi, i have a d9 est too. and i have fitted a socket. in my opinion there is not a strong enough perminant 12v in there and there is not an ignition live at all. I routed a wire straight from the fuse box inder the steering colum area, up the a post across the roof under the rooh lining and down the back post past the speaker, and mounted my socket in the cubby hole near the satnav and amp, in the right hand side of the boot. i also fused the feed in the fuse box with an inline fuse, then earthed the socket straight into the boy near where i mounted the socket. . whole job took me 30 mins and that included finding my soldering iron. it really was easy. Is you decide this route is for you, and want some advice just ask, im happy to help.
