D8 Air Conditioning Compressor

Post by sidmon1 »

Just had my Air Conditioning regassed by a local specialist. On regassing I expected the compressor to start cutting in but it refuses to, it definately used to work but it appears now doesn't want to. What can I test/check to see why it will not work.

Not really sure, apart from checking connections. The gas didn't leak straight out again did it?

To be fair the bloke was a professional who I've used for years. He pressure tested before starting and there was gas in there before he started which he evacuated for 30 minutes before recharging with 750 grammes of gas. The compressor just doesnt seem to quite was to cut in!

I reckon we ought to recruit a Moderator so we can deal with this sort of thing instantly.
