You have to put the correct code in to disarm the immobiliser before you disconnect the keypad!
When this happenned to me I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes & reconnected, all was back to normal.
It shows both lights if the wrong code has been entered too many times, maybe if the ECU has got itself scrambled too.
