Retrofitting Automatic Lights

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Retrofitting Automatic Lights

Post by superdooper »

Does anyone know of an easy way to retrofit automatic lights to a D8?

....if not i have brought a 12v light sensitive kit that is made for this type of application. So does anyone know the wire that comes from the stalk that controls the headlight that i could tap into?

Pretty sure it's a D9-only feature, meaning it works off the BSI, and you don't want to be sticking one of those in your car...
