Hi Guys
2000 406 model GLX 110 HDi indicators. Now and again when the indicators are used either left of right the 'clicking' noise you would associate with old style flasher unit, does not 'click' There is never a problem with the indicators they always work it's just that they don't click in unison with the flash. You can be on a journey and they will either work no problem or now and again won't click. Any ideas please?
Very odd. Perhaps the D9's BSI handles the switching instead of the relay the D8 has tucked up high next to the vent, and instead has a 'clicker' module?
You will need to get it fixed before MOT time - an audio+visual signal on the indicators is a legal requirement.
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
There's some bit of electronics that makes the "plip plop" noise, I think it's on or around the BSI but Service Pox was down when I had a look for it earlier.

I know in the later D9's with COMM2000 this makes the indicator noise
