noise from dash
Hi i think im going barmy but when i start my 52 plate 406 rapier 1800 petrol there is a low buzzing noise coming from the dash seems to be passenger side, only goes for about a minute or so, anyone any ideas

Mine does this (1999 model).
It happens when you've been out driving, the interior is happy and warm, but then you park for a while and when you jump back in the car's climate control needs to catch up because the interior has cooled.
The buzzing is like a minggg minggg minggg sound and then it stops it is not a clicking (plastic gears slipping) sound. It's just the heating actuator moving ready to heat you up!

ok ta does sound a bit odd though, bit like a reversing sensor but very muffled
