Hi, got some 100w blue-white bulbs (accidentley)as an upgrade, but I get the impression that they cannot be used on the road. Will they overheat the wiring also?
Am I just better off getting them changed for 55w xenon`s?

Re: 100w white bulbs?
I always run overpowered bulbs as there are hardly any street lights in a 30mile radius around where I live. Currently running 2 sets of 100W bulbs as main and dipped beams and a further pair in the fogs. Had them in for over a month with no problems.
I have run them previously in several different cars (309's, 405's, 306's, Subaru Legacy Outback for 4 years!) with no issues whatsoever. I have heard stories of them being able to melt the wires, but this has never happened to me.
Up to you whether you change them back or not. Personally, I like to be able to see where I'm going at night on the country roads!
