the engine management light keeps coming on and it hesitates a ;ittle so my mate has pluged in the diagnostic and has come up with these codes

The p1403 code refers to the EGR valve.
The p1404 code relates to additional heating circuit 2 and pre heaters (glow plugs).

with these fault codes what can i do to fix them ive noticed if i let the car warm up the engine man light does not come on

Be careful with the fault codes, they can just be "clues" at first.

Yes Teamy, the ECU sort of 'hints' at what may be wrong, but it won't tell you what's actually wrong - bit like a Woman really

oh right i was thinking it could be the watr temp sensor so this fault could be to do with the fans and fuses i have got a new glow plug relay but aint put it on yet.
