Fitting interior from a 99 2.1 executive to a hdi 2003

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Fitting interior from a 99 2.1 executive to a hdi 2003

I have been looking and have seen that this topic has been done on here before but an exact solution has never been established.

this is a picture of the interior in the car extremly dirty.

ive taken the interior out and fitted it to my new car.

the passangers seat was very easily worked. as all i had to do was to use a battery to power the seat and i was then able to run a feed from the car battery to work the seat permantly.

however the problem happened when i fitted the drivers seat and tried to by pass the big control box with power. i used the orange part of the loom which had 4 differnet functions. seat forward and back, seat raised and lowered, back of seat raised and lowered and seat tilted. with these i could only get them to work when i put them on the battery and the would do the opposite with each set of wiring when i reveresed polaritys.

is there any simple way i can run power to the drivers seat without having to use the large box that was under the seat or would it be an easier task to simply use the manual adjusters from my old seat.

p.s. the seat is fitted in the car and me and my father adjusted the seat comfortably to my desired driving postion as pictured below but its a bit annoying if some one taller or smaller than myself was looking to drive the car.
