Rev counter

Post by coopster »

Well i changed my steering column including barrell and had a new key as it burnt out last weekend!

Now when i turn the key just so the ignition lights come on the rev counter flicks all the way round then back to its normal position

Is this a wire fault i done when i had to re-wire the ignition wires?

Lol i got a strange motor i think!

Yeh it idles correctly moves correctly when driving its just that first part where you turn the ignition and get ignition lights on the dash it just flips round then back again!

I thought it was one of those things that other cars did like a check for error thing if that makes sense i know some cars do this as standard but i never known a peugeot to do it! lol.

Ha. I've seen some sports cars on top gear where the rev counter, the speedo and other gauges do that. It looks cool 8)
