flat battery, will replacing it result in radio code problem

Hi for some reason my battery is dead after a 2 day break in driving. The economy mode message is on but I left nothing on.....anyway the battery is at least as old as I have had the car, 3yrs. If I replace the battery will disconnecting the old one cause a problem with my radio which I had to have coded by Peugeot ( when I bought the car I replaced the third party radio with an original Pug one)? Also any ideas why the battery would die so quickly? Its a D9 LX Diesel. cheers

As you've got a D9 you'll have no problem. The radio is coded to the BSi which is stored in EEPROM I believe.
If you're worried take some fly leads to a spare battery while you change it over!
