Installing a rev counter?

I have a 406 without a Rev counter. Can I just install a cluster with a Rev counter?

It's a 1.9TD

OR does anyone know if D9 dials will fit straight into a D8?

I don't know about the diesel's but you can swap the cluster on the D8 petrol's to get the rev counter no problem.

Yeah, you can most likely get a cluster from a scrapers for a few squids and give it a try. Then if it's no good you can ebay it
