Williams waterless wash "n" wax.

Post by grasmere59 »

Has anyone tried this stuff,i have and I have to say I'm well impressed. My mate bought some and showed it to me on his black BMW X5,i was astonished at the results, you spray it on,rub it in with a micro fibre cloth then just rub it off with one,it makes no difference if it goes on the windows (windscreen excluded) or the black plastic bits, tyres, wheels etc as it just rubs off and it looks like you've just spent hours polishing the whole car when in fact probably 10-15 mins tops.I'm a sceptic when these "super products" are advertised on the shopping channels with all the hype etc but I'm a convert.I wouldn't be brave enough to do it on a dirty car as they say you can but on a clean car it's very impressive.I have no connection with the product whatsoever but just thought I say how impressed I am with it :D

I imagine it is silicone based. It will give a shine that soon wears off and attracts dust to it.
I shall remain a sceptic. However I have not tried it myself. Don't think there is a real substitute to good old fashioned 'elbow grease'
Handy though if you are selling a car and need a temporary quick shine for the buyer to look at.

Not tried that Brand .

ive tried, 'pro shine, & the Bees Knees,
its pretty good stuff, but as mentioned above it dont seem to last long.
(its ideal for those who carnt get access to hospipe,no driveway etc imho)

i prefare the hose pipe method, & two buckets,

Maybe 3, two cap fuls of merr in warm water, just thrown over the car...and let it haze & buff off with microfibre cloth's,

It will be fine on a lightly dusty car but I imagine it causing a fair bit of damage on anything with real dirt on it.

I would never dream of using it on a dirty car for fear of ending up with a car with a skating rings all over it but i tried it on my just washed pug at the weekend and so far have been very impressed with the results.
