I know its hard. I sold a pioneer cd player on ebay, but 4got to put the wiring loom in box, so i sent it seperatly on friday, but the guy cudnt wait and took it to halfords to see if they had one to fit, except it didnt work, they tested fuse which was fine, tested it further to say its burnt out! He wants a refund.

But my sister who worked at halfords for abit, also sed they only fit stuff they supply.

So its his own fault, he should of waited til my wiring loom turned up.

What u reckon?

All i stated it that it was in mint condition. Never sed it was or was not working. Surely this is his fault for letting halfords fit it, when they shouldnt of done?

he will say he took it to be fitted at a radio shop and they told him it was no good.
think the best thing you can do is ask him to return it to you,if he opens a dispute with ebay you will lose as ebay always side with the buyer.

Halfords really dont have a clue if they have a shelf dedicated to gearstick knobs thats longer than the one for engine oils or belts you know there is something wrong

if the worst comes to the worst you can trust paypal to straighten things out, make your point clear about the fact you told the buyer to wait for the wires and they should understand.

Another happy ending :cheesy:

Bit of a close call though

Halfords, or any other place, would never show any interest in boshing-in some old head unit because if the car was to catch fire later they wouldn't be insured.
