So it's similar to the battery being removed? And you've not changed any of the wiring connectors on the back of the unit?

Perhaps it's just plain old faulty. Flash memory not working any more.

Oh really? What about... viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11501#p102085 ???

if by that you mean how has he got images up, take a look at the way he has written his post it comes out something like:

jason1987 wrote:i dont mean the rubber boots, i mean the bit behind the boots in the car:

[img]]http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh15 ... 010102.jpg[/img]

the bit after this

[img]]http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh15 ... 010104.jpg[/img]

i need to get that round plastic thing with the wires in it out so i can drill a hole through it to feed speaker wire through from the amp in boot

can you see where he has used the "img" tags? he has hosted the images on photobucket or similar then used the provided "img" tags to add them to his post, have a go mate its simples once you have done it once, honest.
just remove the red bracket thingy and it will all become clear, i think, oh come on somebody help me out here im struggling to explain.

'sright. The photos are embedded using the IMG tags, but they're hosted on Photobucket.

The main issue with posting photos on the forum is not so much the disk space they take up - it's the bandwidth that would be consumed with everyone downloading the photos from the server every time they opened a thread. Bandwidth is comparatively a lot more expensive than disk space. So most forums will insist you offload the bandwidth usage on to a photo/video hosting provider such as Photobucket or YouTube.

Sorry folks. Mea culpa. Re-education appreciated. I'm obviously a forum simpleton.

Hey don't worry about it. I got the same error as you did when I first tried uploading photos here.

Look forward to seeing some snaps of your motor 8)

Ok, that took longer than I expected since I re-scaled the photos to fit using Gimp. Yes, I should have copied and pasted the image URL.

Righto this topics old but thats how slow it takes me to do things, i fitted the supressor/hi lo converter yokes and initially it made a difference but not really enough so i turned down the vairable resistors (all in the dark) and its put the volume down to about right now a conversation and a song can occur simultaneously in the car, the conversation was about the fact that one of the claves had runny shite, and the song was dean brown sex machine. so overall it mightnt be a good thing. But its working.
