My standard issue CD player has decided to swallow a CD and won't spit it back out again.
It refuses to play it at the moment, however I think this is down to a dirty lens not associated with this problem.
When you press eject it makes a click-a click-a click-a noise which I found out is coming from a small white plastic lever toward the rear (when I took the cover off).
Has anyone had this before? Managed to fix it? or got any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: CD Player not ejecting
The click /click noise normally happens on CD players when something is jammed
Not associated with a dirty lens in most cases,
Once they jam-the mech gets thrown out of alignment, there shouid be a little cog somewhere wind that back with a fine precision screw driver,
Iirc, you can wind the cog back until it spits the CD out .. plug it back in and power it up
And then the Mech, shouid realign it self,
Be careful messing with them tho its all a gamble .. fixed or wheelie bin job.
