406HDi Estate D9 Aerial Mount & Stalk

Hi All,

Last weekend I had the pleasure of some scrote whipping my aerial & mount off my motor - it was a rigid mount at the back of the car. The circuit board & bits underneath don't appear to have been touched, so I imagine it's more of a vandalism thing than a theft thing.

So far I have been to a few local places who have all sucked air through their teeth & then said "sorry, can't really help, you are better going to a Peugeot dealer, but it will cost you"

Is there anywhere I can get the parts for this myself? (Google & fleabay haven't revealed much at the mo, still waiting for a couple of breaking sellers to get back to me & The Parts Gateway have sent a negative reply from their sources )

Would I be right in presuming it is an easy fix?

What sort of a price should I be looking at?

Have I missed asking anything?

Any help would be appreciated

Hoping to pop down at the weekend, although if cheap enough new would rather have that, at least if it didn't work I would know it's likely to be the circuit board or other part (I suppose if I get one at a breakers I may see about the whole unit).

It might be worth looking for the same thing on other late model Pugs and maybe Citroens too, just make sure you know what it looks like.

Maybe you could test the amp with a length of wire to see if it still does the amp thing.
