Hi,
I'm sure I've found some info on this in these forums before but can't seem to find any now.
I have a 1998 406 GLX Estate that I bought from a mate and I really like, except that I am cursed with his wife's musical taste as the CD changer in the back won't eject.
I believe it's meant to hold 6 CDs but I can only play 5, so maybe one is stuck thus preventing me opening the magazine.
Can someone tell me the best way of exorcising these CDs from the magazine?
Thanks.

Re: CD changer stuck
Try giving it a whack, if that doesn't work, you'll have to take it out and attack it with a screwdriver
UNLESS of course, you've got a tiny little hole on the top and a bent paperclip to hand to shove through the hole...

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Re: CD changer stuck
Thanks mjb,
I had tried the whack to no avail, as well as numerous thin metal appliances down the side to help it up.
This time I brought a screwdriver set with the intention of removing the unit and forcing the magazine out. And guess what...the "eject" button decided to work for the first time...
So no more Scissor Sisters - hurrah! Except now I am stuck with nursery rhymes instead (got an estate for a reason...).
