About a year ago i took my clarion head unit outta my car to put in an after market stereo. Is it just a case of putting it back in or do i need the code for it?

D8 stereos need a code (check the handbook, service history, etc, and check if it's been written on the HU)
D9 stereos are internally coded to the car so don't need a code
