Thanks all. Was just about to buy a Garmin unit when the wife chimed in with "she already has a Tom Tom so she'll be familiar with the menus and you won't have to teach her to use a new model".
That argument swayed it towards the TT, so I bought the Start 52 for 90 grains of sand.
