No I haven't changed the wires around, do you mean the wires that run from the back of the headunit?

yes behind the head unit on the ISO plug there will be 2 wires that clip apart. just unlip them both and cross them .

ONLY THE RED AND YELLOW WIRES. THESE WIRES WILL HAVE A PUSH TYPE CLIP

Thanks for your help I swapped the cables and now no more turning aux back on from the sub menus or re tuning radio stations!

Thank goodness for this post!
Exactly what I needed to do to figure out why my new headunit wouldn't keep my settings, as already commented turns off after approx 15 secs or economy mode as the hud reads.
