Radio in a Lorry
A friend has a ford/iveco cargo its a small lorry, he has asked me to wire up a radio into it. But the thing never came with a radio there is nothing apart from a blanking plate, things like the speakers, aeriel are ok but the problem is the raido is rated at 12v and the lorry has a 24v system. Whats the best way to sort out the power, is a 24v to 12v transformer any good?

A transformer wouldn't be much use on DC...
You can get specific voltage reducers for trucks. No idea where from - ebay 12 24 volt reducer
