Stereo with flip out screen

Hi All another question by me. Im looking at a project which will require a flip out screen in the 406. question is will the flip out screen clear the dash when out? is anyone using one?

I don't know the make, but I have seen a single-DIN size DVD player with a screen that came out. rotated 90 degrees and ended up about half an inch clear of the head unit. It was fitted in a friend's BMW, and would play CDs, MP3s, and I seem to recall it had an SD card slot. So yes, what you are looking for definitely exists.

I think the standard stereo points slightly upwards and is slightly recessed when used with an adapter fascia, so may be worth checking clearance first.
Check topics but I think Alpine and Blaupunkt work with 406s harness no problem..??
